Account protection. When you need it.
SunCom Account Protection is a program to help prevent the worries and surprises related to an unexpected, high monthly invoice. This program provides an invoice "cap" on your account providing you with piece of mind and additional assurance that you will not receive a monthly invoice that exceeds your account protection level. How does this program work? Whenever you are getting close to your account cap, say about 80%, we'll send a text message to your phone letting you know. Then, when you reach 100% of your cap, we'll send you a second text message advising you to call SunCom Customer Service. This way you will be sure that your phone service will continue uninterrupted. Once you have reached your cap, the next call you make will be automatically routed to Customer Service. Customer service can assist you with verifying usage and helping to understand your invoice. At this time you'll be asked to make a payment on your account before more calls can be made. When you substantially reduce the unpaid charges, your account will be restored to regular service. SunCom Account Protection is there when you need it. Yet another way SunCom gives it's customers one less thing to worry about.
